Supa Nova double resin bonded soft lapidary wheels are a great quality wheel as a cheaper alternative to the Diamond Pacific Nova soft wheels.
Wheel sizes available: 6 x 1.5 inch and 8 x 2 inch.
Grits: 140, 280, 325, 600, 1200, 3000, 8000, 14000, 50000
Please note: These wheels are not the most suited for cutting Opal. For Opal cutting we recommend using Diamond Pacific soft wheels.
These Supa Nova wheels are double bonded with a resin diamond coating to promote longer lasting wear compared to other cheaper alternative wheels on the market.
The wheel arbor is 1" but a set of wheel bushes come with the wheel to provide arbor sizes of 1/2", 5/8" and 3/4".
These wheels are designed for shaping, grinding, and polishing stone and glass. The wheels have a foam backing which enables you to contour your stone into shape.
When new these wheels are new, they have a textured nap resin finish which will need to be broken in before taking to your prized jewellery piece. We recommend using something hard like petrified wood to “wear the wheel in” to make it suitable for all your cabbing needs.
Dressing sticks can be used on worn wheels to prolong the use of the wheel, giving it an extra cutting surface again.
