This machine features:

• Stainless steel box around main steel plate.
• Switch to turn machine on and off. VFD Control box with variable speed motor.
• Comes with rubber feet on the bottom of frame for easy use on a bench or table.
• Steel base plate features a 5/8" - 11 right hand thread in the center making it compatible with cone and dome attachments for glass work.

Can I use the flat lap for both polishing stones and glass work?

• Yes, our diamond flat laps are suitable for shaping and polishing stones while also suitable for glass work.

Does it come with a cone or dome?

• We sell the dome and cones for glass work separately.

What water source options are available?

• Water tank and tank stand or
• Water fed by a garden hose to a manifold

Do I get any laps or polish pads when I make a purchase?

• This 12" flat lap machine can be purchased on it's own or you can add a lap set to your order. Alternatively you can choose from a range of diamond laps, resin laps and polish pads to add to your order.
• The base plate is steel and suitable with all full face magnetic backed laps and polish pads.

• Hard Diamond Lap Grits available: 46, 80, 100, 240, 320, 600, 1200, 3000. $65 each
• Resin diamond soft lap grits available: 220, 325, 600, 1200, 3000, 8000, 14000, 50000. $175 eac
• Felt or leather polish pad $80 each (needs to be used with a polishing compound)

What comes in the set of laps?

• The 12" set includes: Diamond Laps: 80, 240, 600, 1200, 3000 + Felt pad.

How big is the motor on this machine?

• The size of the motor is 1/2 HP.

Where are the flat laps made?

• All of our machinery is hand crafted in Mackay, Queensland, Australia.

Does this machine come with a warranty?

• Yes, we offer a 12 month warranty on all of our hand-crafted lapidary machines.
