3 Wheel Cabbing Machine

This machine features:

• SS304 shaft which is 25mm diameter in the centre and tapered to 3/4″ on the ends for the flange. There is a ¼” thread inside the shaft on the right hand side to take either a 5.5” polish pad or 6″ steel base plate which is compatible with our range of 6″ magnetic laps and polish pads.
• SS304 wheel boxes (with drainage underneath), SS431 manifold and brass bung for water supply (which comes from a standard garden hose connection), Italian Brass tap fittings, SS316 nuts and solid Australian steel centre frame!
• Superior quality Sealed Bearings and steel bearing housings are fixed to the steel frame for strength and support of shaft + 15mm thick/ 50mm diameter steel flanges.
• 50mm diameter Nylon wheel spacers (50mm spacers between each wheel – plenty of room for hands when cabbing) + spacers support the full surface of the wheel hub without rubbing the plastic centre wheel hub down.

What is it mounted on?

• Our 3 wheel cabbing machine is mounted on a sealed 12mm ply base board.
• Rubber feet on the bottom of the base board for easy bench or table mount.

Is there a on/off switch on the machine?

• Yes, there is a switch to turn machine on and off. It's not just wall power switch.

How big is the motor on the 3 wheel cabbing machine?

• The size of the motor is 1/2 HP single phase motor (with overload switch) which is set to run at 1400rpm.
• Gates motor belt which is fully adjustable.

Where are the 3 wheel cabbing machines made?

• All of our machinery is hand crafted in Queensland, Australia.

Does this machine come with a warranty?

• Yes, we offer a 12 month warranty on all of our hand-crafted lapidary machines.

What comes with the 3 wheel cabbing machine when purchased?

• Our 3 wheel cabbing machine comes with 2 hard wheels and an expander drum. The price reflects either this combination or 3 hard wheels.
• You can choose soft wheels for your machine but this will alter the price so please contact us for a price. We recommend adding some of the Johnson Brothers Resin belts to your order if you are choosing the expander drum option.
