6" Diamond Faceting Lap

• Our steel cabbing/faceting top plate laps are a metal bonded diamond disc without the aluminum or steel backing disc found on standard diamond laps.

Do the 6" diamond faceting lap have a adhesive backing?

• No, they don't. The 6" diamond faceting don't have any adhesive backing.

Do I have to use the 6" diamond faceting lap wet?

• Yes! It must be run wet when you are using it.

Can I use water?

• Yes, you must use the faceting lap with water as a coolant with an additive (tool cool).

Do I need to use anything with the 6" diamond faceting lap?

• Yes, it needs to be used with the aluminum master lap. (Top plate for the master lap.)
• You can purchase the aluminum master lap separately through our website.

What big is the arbor?

• The size of the arbor is 1/2" (1.27cm).

What is a arbor?

• The "arbor" refers to the centre hole of the faceting lap.

What other sizes are available?

• We currently only have one other size available. Please see below.
• 8".
