Beginner Wax

• Ideal wax for someone just starting out their lapidary journey!
• Easy to use.

• Comes in either a single stick, box of 2 or a box of 4 sticks.

The main difference between the Green and Red lapidary wax is their melting point and also what kind of stones you can use with it.

What does each colour of wax do?

• Green: Has a lower melting point (typically melts around 65°C or 150°F). Typically green wax is used with heat-sensitive stones. For example: turquoise and opals.
• Red: However red wax, has a slightly higher melting point (typically around 70°C or 160°F). Is a general-purpose wax.
• Temperature to a liquid form for both of them is around 135°C or 275°F).
