Blue Lace Agate
Blue lace agate was discovered in 1962 in South Africa. It gets it's name from the lace-like patterns that are formed by it's white and blue banding.
What is it made up of?
- Trace amounts of minerals like iron, nickel, titanium and manganese. It also has silica dioxide, it is a form of microcrystalline quartz known as chalcedony.

- The parts of the world where blue lace agate are found are: Namibia, Indonesia and Nigeria.
