Cerium Oxide Polish

• Average particle size around 1.5 - 2.5 microns.
• Fine-grade compound.
• Cerium oxide is used as the final polish for both cabbing and rock tumbling.
• The user is able to use cerium oxide on a variety of different stones. For example, quartz, agate and jasper.
• For cabbing, cerium oxide can be added to either leather or felt laps for polishing. Please note, make sure not to added another grit or polishing compound on the lap you have used cerium oxide with previously.
• For tumbling, add water and cerium oxide together in the tumbling barrel to make a slurry. Than put it back on the tumbler and let it run for 7 days.

How much to add:

• If you are tumbling, for roughly every 0.500kg (1lbs) equals to one tablespoon of cerium oxide.
• If you are cabbing, make a slurry with water and cerium oxide (similar to the texture and look of thin cream). Use a toothbrush or brush and apply the slurry directly onto either the leather or felt pad.
