Expander Drum

• Expander Drums are a great alternative for people who have a set up with limited space or wheel options.
• The expander drum needs to be paired with a resin diamond or silicon carbide belt which matches the size of the drum.
• Belts can be easily changed by slipping off the old one and then sliding on the new. Please note that belts may be a little tight to interchange when new but will become easier as they wear in.
• Angles expansion slots around the rim allow the drum to expand which then holds the sanding belt firmly in place.
• The flexible surface of the drum provides a contour which makes it suitable for doing cabochons.
• The arbor size of the drum is 1” but the drums are supplied with bushes to fit 3/4”, 5/8” and 1/2” arbors.
• Recommended maximum RPM for this wheel is 1700.

CAUTION: Do not run the drum without a belt in place as it may cause damage to the rubber rim. Always place your expander drum on your machine with the slots facing towards you.

• Diameter - 8" (200mm) Width - 3" (75mm)

Resin diamond or silicon carbide belts to go with them sold separately.
