Do the power feed saw have a nickname?

• Yes, sometimes they are referred to as 'lapidary slab saws'.

Can I use water with my power feed saw?

• The power feed saws are NOT suited to be used with water. We recommend to use a mineral oil cutting agent.
• We do sell white mineral oil, which can be purchased separately.

Are the power feed saws free standing?

• Yes, they are. They're a free standing unit on their own frame with caster wheels added for ease of movement.

How does it work?

• It is driven by a gear box worm drive which pulls the stone through the blade.

Do they have a lid and a window? 

• Yes, they do. All of our power feed saws come with lids that have little viewing windows.
• The saw is enclosed with a lid whilst the cutting takes place.

What are the windows made out of?

• The windows in the lid are made out of perspex.

Is their something to catch the slabs once they are finished being cut?

• Yes, we have built in a shelf to catch slabs as they fall off.

Is their a on/off switch?

• Yes, for easy convenience all of our power feed saws have a on/off switch.

Do I get any saw blades when I purchase a power feed saw?

• Yes, you do. All of our power feed saws come with a 303 compatible saw blade.
• If you need more than one saw blade, they will have to be purchased separately.

Do I get any vices when I purchase a power feed saw?

• All the saw sizes (except the 24" saw) come with two different vices.
• One vice is perfect for grabbing flat faces and the other will clamp down on any odd shaped stones.

Where are the power feed saws made?

• All of our machinery is hand crafted in Queensland, Australia.

Does this machine come with a warranty?

• Yes, we offer a 12 month warranty on all of our hand-crafted lapidary machines.

• Please use appropriate safety gear when using the power feed saw.

Please note: As we make all of the components for these saws from scratch they can be quite timely to construct. All saws are made to order. Please inquire about lead times before making your purchase.
