- Always wear breathing apparatus and safety goggles when sanding.
Clean up
- To clean brush or any excess disc cement use mineral turps. Dried adhesive film can be easily rolled off back-up plate.
Temporary Bonding.
- A removable adhesive, meaning it will provide a bond that is strong enough to hold the disc you're using in place, but also it will allow you to remove the disc when finished without damaging it.
Fast Drying and Easy Application.
- Disc cement has been designed to dry very quickly. This allows for seamless work flow when you're working.
Suitable for Paper and Cloth-backed Abrasives.
- Disc cement is specifically designed for securing paper and cloth-backed abrasive discs to your lapidary machines.
First Aid
- If poisoning occurs contact a Doctor or Poison Information Centre. If swallowed DO NOT induce vomiting. Give 1 or 2 glasses of water. Before use and storage, thoroughly read all directions. Disc Cement is suitable for applications indicated on container. Before using Disc Cement on other materials, purchasers should check with materials manufacturer.
Caution
- Highly flammable, use only in thoroughly ventilated areas. The solvents in Disc Cement are highly volatile and the vapours will readily ignite. Do not use near or in same areas of spark, fire, flame or heat. Keep away from spark producing machinery. Do not store above 46C.
Applications
- Disc Cement possesses excellent adhesion to a variety of surfaces, but is principally designed for use where:
A) The bond is temporary and non load bearing or supplemented with mechanical fasteners.
B) One of the surfaces is a low strength material such as paper, cloth, felt, thin gauge polyethylene film or fiberglass.
Please note:
- Please keep out of reach of small children.
- Please use appropriate safety gear when using disc cement.
