Sodalite - A Grade

"A - grade" simply indicates it's a higher quality. This stone polishes beautifully! The stone was discovered in 1811. It was first found in Greenland and then located in Ontario, Canada.

What is it made up of?

• These white bands are actually formations of calcite. These white bands are actually formations of Calcite.

Mohs hardness scale:

• 5.5 to 6.

Where is it found?

• It is often sourced from Brazil and also Canada. Other known locations include: Portugal, USA, Burma, Russia, Namibia and Romania.

Sodalite - A grade meaning:

• Similar to other blue stones like Lapis Lazuli, Aquamarine, and Peacock Ore, the Sodalite crystal healing properties promote peace and tranquillity, which works to connect our physical and spiritual selves.
